About Me
CURRENT MISSION
...still searching...
ABOUT ME
I once heard my dad say about me: "she's a very loyal friend". I guess I always wanted to make sure he felt his words were not in vain.
As for my own description of self: I'm laid back and easy going (unless I find out you have once hurt a kitty!)
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life as it comes...
Be good, help others...but don't forget about yourself.
Take the best out of every situation, every opportunity...each place has a different thing to offer, don't waste time with unreal comparisons!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I not only travel a lot, but I have recently moved into a tiny apartment so it's hard for me to host as I am not able to provide any comfort nor privacy...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted a few times, have been hosted several times, and I have had countless "coffee or a drink" experiences in different cities. So far, all of my experiences have been amazing and every couchsurfer I've met has been great! I am glad to say I have made good friends from this site :)
Interests
Traveling (of course), and everything that is related to animals and nature.
I love mountains, I love rainbows, bubbles, dandelions, I love tea and I'm crazy about red wine and Lebkuchen cookies.
I love reading and I love the sound of the word "bumblebee".
I'm a trekking enthusiast and would love to cover the world on foot (I won't, though... I have a bad knee).
I also enjoy photography, but I still have a long way to go... For those willing to check my photos, here's the link:

Music, Movies, and Books
Even if my favorite book ever has been Arundhati Roy's "The God of Small Things", I usually enjoy reading latin american writers... beautiful stories, strong characters and a hint of magic and surrealism...
I have my share of reality from life itself... why not escape from it from time to time?
I have also loved books by Salman Rushdie, Khaled Hosseini and my all-time-favorite-non-fiction-author Bill Brysson.
Music... ahh, I love music. I was raised in a very musical environment, all of my brothers became musicians and I didn't... only because I suffer from a very severe lack of talent... but I enjoy my pathetic singing anyway :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mmm... not sure. There are so many amazing things that happen in everyday life...
I guess something amazing would be taking a hot-air balloon ride at sunrise over Capadoccia, Turkey. That was pretty neat.
Another amazing thing happened not long ago when I was walking home one night and I saw a guy with a huge telescope standing in the middle of a plaza in Madrid. He offered me to have a look and there it was, Saturn, the size of a lentil, but with recognizable rings and all.
