ABOUT ME

I am a pale Brazilian girl who does not dance samba. Yeah, you can believe me, I am 100% Brazilian.

At first, people say I am too serious. Bééééé!!! People are wrong; what I really am is too shy.

I don’t like my big nose, but I love my friendly smile and that is ok - I am sure you will need much more of my smile.

When I was 18 I left home to leave 2 years in the United Sates as an au pair. That was when I first realize there is a whole big world waiting to be discovered by my eyes. After living in Nashville, the Music City, and traveling trough more than 30 cities in the US I went back to Brazil. Six months later I started feeling that it was my time to travel again and Europe would be my next destination. Here I am, in Antwerp, the Diamond City, again as an au pair, and in Belgium I will remain until July.

I am au pairing not only because I love children, but especially because this program gives me the opportunity to learn other languages, travel abroad and meet new people. Until now, I could not find a better way to experience other cultures so well and learn so much about other people habits. And of course, that is the best way to figure out what not to do with my own kids in the future.

Back in Brazil I study Journalism, two more years to go and I finally get my degree. After I graduate I want to become a sport journalist. There are not many girls working in this field and I think I am pretty good with it – or crazy about it - what should be enough to get a good job.

If you ask me what kind of sports I like you will get a simple answer: all of them. Nowadays I watch more than practice, but I used to practice volleyball, handball, basketball, soccer, swimming and judo (be careful, I am a black belt). Few months ago my dad caught me watching Badminton - China x South Korea. He said nothing but I answered his mental question anyway: -- Daddy, you know me, I just can’t help it. In the next day, I was watching soccer (Brazil zil zil zil zil), then he finally felt like asking me the score.

I don’t believe in coincidence; I believe on purpose.

I am catholic and I mean it. I follow masses and participate in a prayer group. People say it is bullshit to follow a religion, but I found God there and He is the One who helps me being the person you will be thankful to meet.

I find it extremely hard to use the word NO and it sometimes makes me a non-assertive person, but I have been working on it – the problem is that I am too nice and want always to please everybody around.

I am very determined. Until now, everything I wanted to accomplish was done and I am pretty sure I will get there with the next goals. First because I have the One who leads me, second because I have enough friends who are always there to support my craziness and the third reason is just because I am Brazilian and Brazilians do not ever give up. :P

I wish I could stop thinking for at least one minute. Sometimes I feel like my brain is burning with idiots jokes.

I have the most beautiful family and friends in the world. If you want to become beautiful, I can give you the chance. = )))
