I am simply infinitely curious to life, people, nature, you name it..:) I love to exchange experiences, ideas, am eager to hear about different views and walks of life. Traveling for me is going far beyond the touristic highlights and truly experience a country's culture and society; therefore.. couchsurfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing, and before hospitality club, has made each and every trip I've made, from Kalispel to Jerusalem, Duesseldorf to Damascus, a true journey; inspiring, warm, exciting, creative, beautiful.. thank you couchsurfers and hospitality club!

Interests

I'm a big fan of both nature and city life, love to go cycling, hiking, swimming outdoors... just as much as I enjoy cooking, going out, listening to music (from Chet Baker to Dvorcak to Joan Baez to Paolo Nutini to Fairuz), traveling, discussing life&society, meeting people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing in the middle of Jerusalem, seeing Jews praying while listening to church bells and the mouezzin, and at the same time trying not to bump into a group of tourists... a powerful people moment, beautiful and difficult at once when I realized the political nastiness also so much present here

An endless sunset at the Dutch beach around the longest day of the year; the light just stays and changes in color again and again while the waves hit the sand again and again, my mom and I are singing songs from the top of our lungs

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been working with youth, especially from the Middle East, for some years now organising and facilitating trainings in non-violence, intercultural communication and conflict transformation. I love to exchange, share and learn from each other, lets get inspired! :)
