I enjoy travelling and getting to know interesting people. Would also like to get to know interesting people when I'm not travelling myself. The importance of international and cultural understanding is increasing, and I'd be happy to help provide some insight into Norwegian culture and traditions for anyone interested :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I often surf at my friends and think it's great! I travelled for 6 weeks in Norway, the UK and the US - camping on sofas, air mattresses, floors, train seats, etc.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Too many to describe really... A few of them:

- moving to Wales as a 17 year old to go to an international high school with 360 students from 70 different nationalities.
- seeing the sun rise over the more than 2000 years old ruins of the ancient Mayan city Tikal in Guatemala.
- taking the Transsiberian Railway on my own, without knowing Russian, Mongolian or Chinese. But managing fine, thanks to people's kindness and hospitality.
- travelling by train across the US and in Europe
- spending the summers in the North of Norway, watching the midnight sun and enjoying the fact that it never gets dark.
- visiting Iran during the election campaign and the election day in 2009.
