My name is Lawrence, I'm an Italian-English traveler currently studying in London. I was brought up in Milan and then spent a few years traveling. I'm very curious, enjoy a good adventure, always keen to learn something new. I'm involved in climate change and language activism.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I believe Couchsurfing is the best way to get to meet the locals and really 'live' the place you're visiting. I think couchsurfing is also a great network for travellers, open minded people and international people. Platforms such as couchsurfing help spread a message of peace and break barriers such as prejudice.

Where to start?

I'm very passionate about walking, I find it to be the best way of travel, it truly allows one appreciate every step of the way with all its characteristics, be they smells, flavours, colours or people.

Languages are another big passion of mine. Whenever I travel I try and pick up a bit of the local language, I'll do my best to learn a bit of yours!

Songwriting, history, nature, cooking (and eating) are some of my other big passions

Buying an old van, sorting it out, converting it into a little home and traveling around Australia. Walking from London to Rome researching the impacts of climate change amongst farmers and minority languages.

Ho comprato un vecchio furgoncino, l'ho sistemato, c'ho costruito dentro una casetta e sono partito all'insegna dell'avventura in giro per l'Australia. Ho camminato da Londra a Roma facendo ricerca riguardo gli impatti del cambiamento climatico sui contadini e le lingue minoritarie.

The present is a gift and the only moment in which we can experience existence.
