About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the ride.... =)

ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic workaholic who is still searching for meaning in my life. =)A balance between worlds and ideas.

Apart from that I guess, a pretty normal homo sapien who loves to travel and experience new things, places, food, company, ideas, etc.

"Africa is mystic; it is wild; it is a sweltering inferno; it is a photographer's paradise, a hunter's Valhalla, an escapist's Utopia. It is what you will, and it withstands all interpretations. It is the last vestige of a dead world or the cradle of a shiny new one. To a lot of people, as to myself, it is just 'home'. It is all these things but one thing-- it is never dull." --Beryl Markham-- She not only describes the land but also the people who lived and grew up in it...

"I grew up in a Yellow country,
But my parents are Blue.
I'm Blue.Or at least,
that is what they told me.
But I play with the Yellows.
I went to school with the Yellows.
I spoke the Yellow language.
I even dressed and appeared to be Yellow.
Then I moved to the Blue land.
Now I go to school with the Blues.
I speak the Blue language.
I even dress and look Blue.
But deep down, inside me, something's Yellow.
I love the Blue country.
But my ways are tinted with Yellow.
When I am in the Blue land,
I want to be Yellow.
When I am in the Yellow land,
I want to be Blue.
Why can't I be both?
A place where I can be me.
A place where I can be green.
I just want to be green."

PHILOSOPHY

"Live a life less ordinary
Live a life extraordinary with me
Live a life less sedentary
Live a life evolutionary with me"

"In the end, our society will be defined not only by what we create, but by what we refuse to destroy." -John Sawhill

"If all difficulties were known at the outset of a long journey, most of us would never start out at all." -Dan Rather

"I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed." -Booker T. Washington

"In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous" -Aristotle

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

>Moonrise over the Sea of Cortez in Bahia de los Angeles. It was past midnight and we went for a little walk further down the La Gringa cove aiming to climb a few hills. Unfortunately, we didn't get to climb any hills but we did get to see one of the most surreal sights I have ever seen.
It was almost like we were in some sci-fi movie or in some other planet. The sea was inky black and was ever so quiet at lapping on the rocky beach. Close by was a shalow swamp filled with grass and from where rose an eerie mist that shrouded the barren mountains to the east. And all around the cove were more dark mountains towering and empty. Desolate. The camp we left behind was swallowed up in the semi-darkness and even under the moonlight we felt totally alone in a bleak land a hundred million light years away from earth.

>Jumping into extremely cold water to swim with dolphins..... my body was shutting down fast but the exhilaration of seeing them swim as close as ten feet away from my friend was so awesome.
