ABOUT ME

I'm Muireann, a French-Irish girl.
People say I'm outgoing, I'd say I'm curious. I love to meet new people and talk about life for hours.
Since I studied urban planning, I tend to spend hours walking around cities, looking at the buildings and getting the atmosphere of the place. But my current job is being an English teacher and an activity leader in Paris.

I'm on couch surfing to be able to meet locals when I travel and discover places a bit differently.

Now I'm back living in Paris I'm happy to share my knowledge and offer a couch when I'm not too busy.

Interessi

I love discovering new places and people, that's why I like to travel with my backpack. You always meet nice and interesting people. I'm also trying to learn about photography, in order to grasp memories of places I've been to.
Beside that, I like to hike, read lots of kinds of books, go to the movies, and play games.

Favourite films: the Royal Tennenbaums, Arizona dream, The science of sleep, The meaning of life, every film by Tim Burton, and of course The sound of music :)
Music: Air, Moriarty, The cat empire, The strokes, Massive Attack, David Bowie, Queen
Books: The alchemist (P.Coelho), Ensemble c'est tout (A. Gavalda), Millenium (S. Larsson), Limonov (E. Carrère), the Joe Nesbo series, and every book written by Amin Maalouf and Isabel Allende!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I loved working and visiting Vietnam. My 3 favorite moments there were 1- living in crazy Saigon, 2- trekking through the terrasse rice fields in Sapa, 3- admiring Tam Coc cliffs by boat

I also like to visit mind blowing monuments and antics. I loved Borobudur in Indonesia, Angkor in Cambodia, Ephesis in Turkey, Iran

Finally, I'd say I love going to my Grandma's house in Normandy. It's in the Mont Saint Michel bay. When I'm there I can't stop looking at the beautiful colors changing on the sandbanks.

UPDATE: I loved my experience in Myanmar. It was amazing!
