PHILOSOPHY

Become who you are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had some really sweet experiences with couchsurfing, and I hope they will multiply (:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed as well as hosted and met lots of friends along the way. Couchsurfing makes every visit to a city so much more worthwhile and colorful and I wouldn´t swap it for any other accomodation to get to know a new place. There´s always a little adventure involved, as there is in travelling in general I suppose. I enjoy the space of uncertainty it creates, which leaves room for unexpected beautiful new experiences to unveil.

Interests

I am passionate about life and the more I can dive into it the better. I enjoy music (concerts, singing, being moved by it, dancing), being in nature, being with animals, spending time with children, meditating, acrobatics, playing any kind of games... I guess my current life mission is to be in touch - with myself and with others - so I truly embrace small or big moments of connection and exchange or just joyful celebration of being in the moment together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. At the moment I am uplifted and inspired very much by Nahko & Medicine for the People. I like all sorts of music, folk, soul, pop, rock... and am most intrigued by soulful voices. I love to dance to electronical music, ska, swing, klezmer...

I just read The Life List by Lori Nelson Spielman, which I enjoyed. I like John Green. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd was very touching. Shakespeare is a master of the art of (play)writing and used to inspire me although I believe my heart understands more than my mind...

I like how movies are able to absorb you into a story. I enjoyed Life of Pi, Beginners, Big Fish, Down by Law, the Notebook (to give an odd selection of my taste in movies). I like Wes Anderson as a director.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood on a mountain above the clouds overlooking San Francisco and the ocean.

Northern lights in South Dakota (the night sky is indescribable)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to ride a unicycle and maybe I can show you some acrobatics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some said they have never eaten such good tofu as the one I make.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, England, France, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
