Just got started. Would love to host, but can't just yet. I can act as an unnoficial guide, however. I'm also just starting to travel myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I know a couch surfer. He's awesome. All the guests he's hosted have ben lovely. I figure it's my turn now.

Interests

My hair is pink. This might give you the impression I'm into extremely out-there things. This is true. But I'm also down to earth, extremely adventurous, and my tastes are quite varied. I can get along just as easily with a scientist as I can with a musician, and I can talk about (and listen to) anything for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a Film and English major who loves going to concerts and works in a bookstore. I like a little of everything, and I'll try everything more than once.
But Generation Kill, AFI, and Neil Gaiman are awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Dublin and realized a San Diego native could make a killing opening up a burrito bar in that college town.

Teach, Learn, Share

Theoretically, one would want to be able to say "I am lost" and "where is the bathroom?" in the native language of anywhere one travels. Memorize it.
