About Me
Hi there,
I'm a 22-year-old student from the Czech Republic. I set up Couchsurfing in 2018, but I haven't used it since then, until this year. I'm just now trying to discover the beauty of solo travel.
I'm studying Hisotry, it goes hand in hand with traveling. I travel to learn about other countries' history (not just the Czech one, which is my focus) I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to learn something new.
I'm open-minded and very fond of all kinds of good times, whether urban or in nature. It doesn't really matter, what I love about cities is the connectedness, how everything is connected to everything! I most enjoy exploring non-touristy places, I mean I'll happily spend time in a housing estate outside the city to see how life flows there rather than waiting in line for a memorila or a munument.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have just spent six months at Erasmus and have experienced the beauty of meeting people from other parts of the world. I enjoy it very much and would continue to do so.
I pride myself on the exchange of experiences. Unfortunately, by the time I moved out of my parents' apartment, the corona started and I couldn't host anyone. After I return to the Czech Republic, I would love to become a host.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is indie. Both Czech and foreign. I also really like Czech rap, I consider it my quilty pleassure. If anyone would like music recommendations, I have many playlists to offer.
I don't watch movies much, more so series. The last series I saw and loved is "The Billion Dollar Code", it's on Netflix from 2021.
I don't have a specific book that I love. When I was younger, On the Road by Kerouac appealed to me. Now I'm reading The Red Love.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer the apartment where I live with my friend. We're both history students. It is oriented in a great location in Hradec Kralove, almost everything is a short walk away. There is also a station for public transportation right in front of the house.
