About Me

In February We, my husband Bashir and I, startet travelling. We would like to visit friends a d family in different countries. First destination is Australia.
We bought a campervan and experience Australia and visiting friends. From time to time we would love to stay with other people to experience other ways of living. We are keen on getting to know people, learn new things, have new experiences that will enrich our lives and leave us with fons memories.

I worked with refugees for several years in Germany. I learned a lot from the people with different cultural backgrounds when the told me about their life stories. But it is still a difference experiencing culture and people in their own countries. Both sides are valuable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling, meeting people, getting around, new experiences, different views of how life should or can be, having a good time together, we want to learn from others and have good community.

Music, Movies, and Books

It changes from time to time and of course it depends on my mood what music I like or would prefer in a certain moment.
Classic, Reggae, Chanssons, R&B, Jazz, Rock, Iranian, Nigerian music, Bossa Nova, Dancehall, singer songwriter ...

Reading is a passion which I rediscovered after a few years of stressful daily work life.
I read a very famous book "The kite runner" from Khaled Hosseini which made me cry and impressed me. I love to read books from Ewald Arenz and many novels from other authors.
At the moment a I am reading "Sand talk" from Tyson Yinkaporta an Indigenious scholar.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can prepare good meals, help you with cleaning, repair things since Bishir is a carpenter, just ask us what you need help with.
We can share language skills in German, Farsi and Dari.
We just want to share knowledge when we are asked for it or it comes naturally during the time we spend together.
