Hello! I'm Ömer, born in 2000 in Turkey. This year, I had the opportunity to do an internship in Berlin, Germany, through the Erasmus+ program, and I'm currently pursuing my Erasmus studies in Kaunas, Lithuania. As it's my first time traveling abroad, my expectations are soaring, and I'm brimming with excitement.

I'm a spirited and witty individual, and my hobbies encompass watching TV shows/movies/anime, indulging in music, diving into computer games, engaging in sports, and forging connections with new acquaintances. E-sports, in particular, hold a special place in my heart, and during my downtime, I manage an Instagram cinema page boasting 80,000 followers.

While I may not have traveled abroad before, I'm confident in my ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I possess a keen sense of humor and can easily grasp a wide array of jokes, including those of global meme culture. My penchant for watching TV shows/movies/anime has significantly shaped my worldview, sparking introspection and a perpetual hunger for fresh content.

Whenever I find myself in low spirits, I turn to music to lift my mood, immersing myself in a variety of musical genres.

I'm also an avid gamer, with a particular fondness for titles like League of Legends, Valorant, and narrative-driven games. Lastly, my passion for volleyball sprouted after watching an anime series called Haikyuu. Although I'm not a professional player, I relish the game purely for the joy it brings and occasionally participate in local tournaments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the craziest thing I've ever done is going abroad with the Erasmus program! As I mentioned before, I have never been abroad, but I love meeting people from different cultures and languages. This process is very exciting for me :')
