About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"dreaming in the immensity... of all that road going"- J. Kerouac
ABOUT ME
I am a gregarious and fun mid-20s woman. I value good conversation and intellectualism above almost all else. That, and a good gin and tonic. All in moderation, of course.
I enjoy writing. I also enjoy learning anything and everything that I can, being outside in the grass, exploring, photography and just generally living life. I am a semi-seasoned tour guide, trained birth doula and a retired line cook.
I was born in Florida (unfortunately, no offense) and have lived in Mississippi, Texas, Virginia, Arizona, Louisiana, North Carolina and Alaska.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is short, valuable and should not ever be static. We will never be immortal unless we connect with our world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am always happy to show travelers around whatever town I'm currently living in. Right now, I'm living in Anchorage, AK during the summers and working as a tour guide, so I'm very knowledgeable about Alaska.
This fall and winter (2015-16) I will be solo-tripping through Europe briefly and then hopefully settling down for a few months in Chicago. I'm hoping to finally do some hosting this winter.
If you allow me to privilege to sleep in your abode, I will gladly cook anything you'd like. I'm also great at garden work (weeding, etc.), organizing, helping with kids. I will also share any of the snatches of information I keep buried away in my brain.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed with a couple of great folks and I've made a lot of friends in my journeys who are also surfers.
I can't wait to dive further into to the CS community this winter
