About Me

ABOUT ME
Chicagoan, previously in New York for fifteen years.

Hi everyone. I’m a filmmaker and professionally I am a script supervisor. I notice when actors say the wrong lines or when the bruise is on the wrong eye. I check camera lenses and story lines. I’m like a film detective.

I work on tv shows, films, and commercials, sometimes filming in different countries, India, the Bahamas.

You might have seen some of the films/shows that I’ve worked on.

Right now, I just finished a tv show in chicago . About roller skating! And it was called Saturdays! Hilarious..
I’m a freelancer and now is the slow filming periods. So I am traveling for five months. I will be in Italy in November and then Marrakech in December. I will be visiting family in Thailand and vietnam in the spring.

While I am traveling I hope to meet other creative souls. For collaborations and conversation. For good food and coffee.

PHILOSOPHY

Generosity of spirit. Curiosity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I’m looking for felllow travelers and occasionally hosts in lovely places.
In the past, when I had an apartment in chicago I enjoyed showing off our neighborhood, and offering a place to stay in our fantastic city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Because of my work schedule, I have more experiences hosting. But i have surfed. I love the national parks and have really enjoyed staying with hosts from the area. I’ve also had wonderful experiences with hosts in Seattle and Austin where we shared some great music together.

Interests

Walking slowly through the museums, cities and forests. I love going to concerts, dancing when it is not crowded.

I love art house films, and Ethiopian jazz, and contemporary art, picking up mushrooms, making Tom yum soup.

I’ve planted so many trees and started so many gardens. When I’m not lazy, I play tennis. When I’m lazy, I fall asleep reading, usually the news, the New Yorker, Proust, or nonfiction.
