About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I don't do 'missions'.

ABOUT ME

I am studying, working, raving and resting in my hometown Berlin and enjoy this odly charming city in all its facets.
Recently I am getting more and more interested in film & photography, that is why I started working for the Berlinale in 2010 and organised a workshop for young talents in photography.
When going out I dig electronic music in many shades, when staying in I prefer more relaxed tunes.
The biggest luxury in my opinion is to have time at your free disposal: Celebrating an extensive Sunday brunch makes up for all the hectic things happening throughout the week!

PHILOSOPHY

To live and let live is a good slogan to follow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started using this thing...

Interests

Film & photography of course and mostly electronic music; I do read a lot but currently it is mostly articles and professional literature for my studies... And I guess I should improve my Spanish skills, that is overdue!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies? Tons. Mostly New Hollywood masterpieces, art house flics and anything with Steve Buscemi in it. German cinema is not bad too: Fatih Akin, Peter Thorwarth or Sebastian Schipper are extremely talented directors.
Music? Tons. I started with Hip Hop, then came D'n'B, Big Beat and Techno. Nowadays my playlist goes from Air to Zoot Woman.
Books? Tons I still want to read... I prefer non-fictional books but enjoy reading Irvine Welsh, Thomas Brussig or Patrick Süskind for example. And the dystopian works of Philip K. Dick, Ray Bradbury as well as Cormac McCarthy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The day the Berlin Wall came down I was 7 years old and handed out cookies to former GdR citizens, epic!
