Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host surfers, show them a good time and tell them what's bumpin' around town and the "go to" places.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All of the people I have hosted from around the world have proved to be kind, open minded, fantastic people! Having guests helps me to keep a fresh perspective on the the city I live and grew up in. And giving people a peek into my lifestyle, generates my fire to connect and grow with people of as many a variety as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to everything from indie to hip-hop, rock to electronic, folk to glitch.
Douglas Coupland is my favorite fictional author. I like to brush up on anatomy and eastern philosophy too. Thich Nhat Hanh got me into meditation and Osho has some pretty great words of wisdom.
Action/Thrillers and bad horror movies are one of the very few things to my disliking. Not say they are intolerable, just not a preference. Romantic comedies are my guilty pleasure though, shhh.....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam with whale sharks
Seen rice terraces
Explored caves
Worked on farms WWOOFING
Hitch hiked across western Canada
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share my knowledge and values of eastern philosphy that I connect with. With my in depth knowledge of yoga I can share a small personal practice. Also having a solid meditation practice I love to talk about my buddhist values with anyone willing to listen.
Time is one of the most valuable things to share with someone. You can give and take many "things" but your personal time is something you cannot create or destroy. Sharing time through valuable conversation or and adventure around town, I feel, is one of the greatest, but most simple gifts you can receive.
