About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ideally to visit every place in the world and stay long enough for it to become home - impossible i know!

ABOUT ME

I talk too much, but I do know when to shut up, I just find conversation the most interesting and enlightening activity to engage in! I dance to songs in my head and laugh at everything.

I've learnt through a lot of fun, and many mistakes made whilst travelling that the people and the conversations shared whilst exploring can really be the cement of a good experience.

PHILOSOPHY

It's all the messy bits that make us who we are, so embrace them. I believe in every moment being special, but I have a terrible memory - the result of this combination is that I take a lot of photos!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, as I have no actual address, or even country as my home I am unable to host, so am just surfing until I find the right place to open up again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted when I lived in Sheffield and found it to be a fantastic experience, keen to get some more.

Interests

I'm an ex-philosophy student and approach life with an open view and an inquiring mind. I spent most of my time either out at gigs, or actively campaigning to raise awareness of human trafficking for international charity Stop The Traffik. Time volunteering recently has made me challenge a lot of things and be far more open to criticisms and new approaches.

Music, Movies, and Books

far far too many to list here. But not really into mainstream charts music, anything else I'll happily listen (and rather tragically dance) to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing out of the Fish River Canyon in Namibia and looking back across it's entirety having just spent the last week exhausted whilst trekking it.

Three hundred locals cramming into a space built for thirty in the slums of Egypt, just because we were there to teach and help.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Laos, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Myanmar, Namibia, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
