Originally coming from Slovakia. After finishing Journalism studies, I did some travelling in Scotland and Spain. Currently living in UK and working in private service industry. I experienced three years of Scottish country life and now trying to enjoy my fourth year in London city. What can I say? Both places have been the jungles, it just depends how you look at it... :)

Looking back to the childhood/teenage, my 1st powerful travels were across Europe by train with my sisters and father: Slovakia-Austria-Italy-France. Long walks, huge backpacks, hot and sunny days. Tired and happy! :) Another strong experience was the time when my parents kept welcoming travelers passing by: folks from California, New Zealand, Sweden and other countries...
What a great package of adventure I got as a kid!!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

So far, I am practically new to Couchsurfing but I have always found it inspiring, adventurous and exciting! I honestly don`t think there can be any better way of getting real experience and feeling of the country than meeting its` locals!

兴趣

I could always see an inspiration in the people with admirable qualities, mature personalities, brave hearts, adventurous stories to tell, cheeky smiles and gentle gestures. I love new cultures, different languages, literature, music and lyrics in it that can be so 'raw'! Blues, jazz, bluegrass, roots... folk, indie folk... rhythm and stories of life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the summer 2011, I hitch-hiked in Spain on my own from Barcelona to Malaga in about 4 days. I met sincere and also dodgy people, slept on the street, by the cathedral, in the park... experienced adventure and pure existentialism. It was beautiful, crazy and great.
