Hey! I'm Colette. From the beautiful island of Guam. I love the outdoors. My interests include surfing, swimming, hiking, eating really good... not so oily food, and being outside in general. I used to be a surf instructor before covid times, which was awesome! I loved my job! Now I just surf for fun. I'm also really into creating water-resistant jewelry. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well.... I prefer experiences that further my insight on local experiences. I'm not much for tourist-y experiences and I don't exactly care for any of that.. I like when I'm able to communicate with my host(s)... and if not, that's totally fine, too!! I'm open to it all and I hope I'm able to meet some awesome people on my journey couch surfing! I am also able to give lessons for beginner surfing! If you know a spot and we're nearby, I'd love to give my host some lessons! As well as cooking for host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to all types of music! Some of my daily hits include RHCP, Incubus, Rihanna, Okas Point, Tipper, Ocean Alley... I can also listen to a buncha reggae (I'm from Guam lol), hard rock, trap... rap... whatever floats your boat, I'm in it for the ride! Not too picky, but I'm usually able to set the music tone pretty well.

Fav movies: Inglorious Basterds, LOTR series, Rick&Morty, Midnight Gospel, Euphoria, HP series, Peaky Blinders, The Secret Garden, ahhhhhhhh frick man I love a bunch of movies! I love watching stand up as well.

I haven't read many books lately, but I need to.. some artists I've listened to lately include: Dr. Joe Dispenza, Napoleon Hill, Alan Watts, Jason Louv.. I like listening to science meshing wish spirituality n shtuff...
