Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I prefer books that teach me something, but my escapism of choice is good fiction. There's a great project called ayearofreadingtheworld.com/thelist/ where Ann Morgan choose flagship books from every country to read. Love the idea.

Movies! I am slowly embarking on ayearofwatchingtheworld. Really enjoy seeing how different narratives can be (and similar!). Having said that, my 2 fav directors are American - Paul Thomas Anderson and Richard Linklater.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recent memory: did a 18m high jump from rocks into a natural pool. A wonderful adrenaline rush. This was on the Crystal Pools hike in Gordon's Bay, Western Cape (highly recommended!).
