About Me

ABOUT ME

I am easy going, open-minded, trust-worthy and educated. Also a bit chilled out and laidback.

PHILOSOPHY

I always try to live the simple way, though not too simple (completely outdated life style)
I believe that "the more possession you have, the more possessed you are"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first started joining CouchSurfing with LadyQuincy to visit Cologne and Dusseldorf.
Since then I have also travelled to Heidelberg, Bad Wimpfen and Berlin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Winfried and Siegfried in Cologne hosted me and it all went well, thanks to them. Had good long conversations about education, culture, languages and politics.

Thomas from Heidelberg also shared a lot with me about his views on history and geography.

Went to Berlin for 5 days and was hosted by Regine. We talked about many things such as food, anime, music, city planning and internet trolling. It was smooth and happy.

Interests

Music, films, sports and games.
Recently developed a liking to taking panoramic pictures and cooking.
Currently working on Japanese and some German.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music first, then movies and last books.
I keep my ears open to as much music as I can. About movies, I like to be mentally engaged and challenging ones. Usually scary movies or teen romantic movies get crossed off my list.
So far I mainly like reading informative books only though I have to say I am not too much of a reader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fell in love with the Käsekrainer sausage in Vienna.
Went travelling and studying alone in Japan for a month.
Found out that Couch surfing was actually possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I found the ancient Chinese book "The Art Of War" to be most educational for me so far.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
