Finish my degree in Marketing, and spend all my free time exploring the world.

ABOUT ME

In fear of being generic and boring I'll just say that I have a passion for traveling, exploring new places, and challenging myself. I have been described by my friends as adventurous, spontaneous and charming. The last couple of years I have developed a rather casual relationship to exploring the world. Now, it's more about meeting interesting people, and really seeing a place from a locals point of view, and learning more about myself along the way. What else? I love a good laugh, and I enjoy spending time with friends. When I don't travel I sleep, eat, and watch movies.

I have several friends who host, and I have truly become interested in starting to host myself because it seems like a brilliant way to meet new people and learn new things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have none personally, but I have a friend who host people quite regularly, so I have learned about the organisation, and surfing through them.

Interests

Why is this question always so hard to answer? I have noticed that I'm in my right element when I do something I love with people I love. This can be anything from watching a film, going out for a drink, or just sitting at home talking. With that said, I enjoy photography, surfing, snooker, and I love my tourism studies!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a moviebuff, so it's difficult to choose a favourite, but my top 3 movies are: The Shawshank Redemption, 12 Angry Men, and Cinema Paradiso.

Music: Almost everything. It really depends on the mood. Lately however, I have mostly listened to Billy Talent, Passenger, Lissie, The National, and classical music. My favourite bands though are Rise Against, Muse, and Foo Fighters - seen them all live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have bungee-jumped from 85 meters (279 feet), Three times.

Teach, Learn, Share

It depends on where you are in the world of course, but almost everywhere people will smile and be nice to you if you are being nice and smile to them. Talk WITH the locals, not TO them and it will get you a long way.

Additionally, I can talk about movies, travelling, and snooker for hours.
