Overview
About Me
This psychologist doubles as your Hamburg guide & therapy buddy (if needed!) and host, if our stars align.
Life adventurer with a dash of sarcasm and a penchant for curiosities. I navigate life with a smile, always ready for a new chapter of laughter and discoveries.
I'm a Psychologist, but also do a few thing more (whenever I have time), I train dogs, teach Spanish, read the personal mayan energy (sort of personality according to mayan cosmovision), I used to do therapeutic massages, etc. I‘m a lover of: music, dancing, hiking, swimming, cooking, motorcycle riding, reading, wine, yerba mate, animals etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mi casa es tu casa!
As a travel lover, I find joy in sharing and showcasing the beauty of the places I call home. I'm always happy to lend a hand, soak up new knowledge, embark on discoveries, relish delicious meals, share laughter, and make friends.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a broad taste in music, nearly every genre, except "zarabanda" (Guatemalans bands who play only covers in a very funny way).
-Most movies based on real life but I like others as long as they have a good argument.
- Gandhi, Dalái Lama, Bible, Sigmund Freud, Paulo Coelho, Miguel Ángel Asturias, Nicolás Maquiavelo, Dante Alighieri, Gabriel García Márquez, Pablo Neruda, Yogananda, Catherine Clément, Carl Huter, Mark Twain, Jane Austen, J. D. Salinger, etc, etc, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I was just laying down on a dock in Lake Atitlan at midnight and I guess whats! shooting stars like rain!.
Another time while driving a motorcycle got caught by the rain and suddenly just stopped in the middle of the dark and cold road and just being witnessing of thousands and thousands of fireflies illuminating the mountains
Sit on the shores of the beaches, surrounded by people or alone, with music, or in total silence, with fire, or in total darkness, far, or near villages, in this or another country, with a bottle of wine, coffee, water, coconut, mate or nothing, and just being there, feeling admiration, respect and gratitude to nature and life.
But the best thing, is to be able to wake up every morning and feel life in my veins, the happiness in the smile, the freedom in the air, the perception through my eyes, the love in my heart, the tastes, colors, the sounds and smells in my palate, and knowing that wherever I'm going, I will be at home.
