Cycling around the world meeting, seeing and eating all things new.

ABOUT ME

We are travelling as a couple by bicycle in an attempt to circumnavigate our planet.

Our expedition is called '2010 Till When?' as we wanted to go and explore, wherever our hearts took us, rather than ride towards an end.

As we enter a new country we enjoy meeting the people. Sometimes luck plays a part in finding this person, but we know it's well worth using sites like couchsurfing or warmshowers.org to seek out true gems.

We believe communication and sharing is key to a happy and peaceful life, so why not put yourself in the places where this happens? Being allowed through the doors into people's lives has helped shape who we are today. Long may it continue.

Favourite music: most genres (anything that gets the foot tapping) but favourite bands are:

Hot Water Music, Hot Hot Heat, Hot Club de Paris, Hot Snakes (no seriously, they're all good bands, just quite heat related!), The Kills, The Bronx, The Postal Service & Death Cab For Cutie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thumper gave up chocolate for an entire year (a big deal considering she's obsessed with food) & Sam is the first person in the world to bicycle from Lands End to John O'Groats (end to end of Great Britain) playing gigs along the way. Included in his gear was a guitar, ukulele and harmonicas a plenty (yep, all of that was strapped to a bike :D )

Teach, Learn, Share

Thumper is a cook and Sam is a musician, we both ride bikes and so could teach you a range of things.

We don't want to specify what we'd like to learn as, if we narrowed the lessons down to a few specific things, we would be missing out on the broader spectrum of life. Sometimes it's the unexpected lessons that you appreciate the best.
