ABOUT ME

We are two friends/roommates who have a passion for laughter, adventure and cupcakes. Leslie is an aspiring businesswoman who is still looking for a way to balance her fiery youthfulness with her career goals. Katy has some experience traveling in Europe and is trying to create her own path in world-discovering ways to spread and cultivate her knowledge of french culture. Both of us enjoy running, yoga, midnight bike rides, cooking, outdoor music festivals or picnics, a good glass of wine and good conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Leslie and Katy are new to the CS community but have hosted surfers at their Chicago home. Both girls have traveled the states extensively and are just starting to delve into other parts of the big blue world and are hoping to do this by couchsurfing.

Interests

We love to dance and we love all types of music from country to indie to electronic pop. Favorites: Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Alexi Murdoch, Bon Iver, Norah Jones, Phoenix, Passion Pit, Kid Cudi, Lady GAGA, GIrl Talk, etc etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Katy- One amazing thing I did in my life was zipline across a mountaintop in Costa Rica. Incredible views and exhilarating thrills.

Leslie- I planned my first independent trip to volunteer in Lima, Peru for a couple of weeks and while there I climbed a smaller mountain off Machu Picchu. Fantastic feeling to walk the path of history.
