About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn something everyday.
ABOUT ME
I am a 5th generation cattle rancher from Wyoming. Having been raised in that lifestyle, I appreciate everything outdoors. I ski, mountain bike, backpack and hike. To fund my outdoor habits, I work as a grant writer for an architecture and engineering firm (Stantec) which allows me to travel about once a month and work on amazing projects throughout the US. I am outgoing but prefer small groups or one-on-one time enjoying the outdoors or eating a great meal. Though sometimes a pain while traveling, I have to eat gluten-free. I could live the rest of my life on our ranch meat and thai food!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a couchsurfing evangelist. It is the most brilliant concept that has made traveling not only possible, but way more fulfilling. I have hosted people at the ranch in Wyoming and when I lived in Washington. I owe wonderful experiences to the amazing people that have opened their homes to me. Traveling just wouldn't be nearly as gratifying if it weren't for couchsurfing!
Interests
I'm interested in all things outdoor including hiking, backpacking, skiing, road biking, and my favorite hobby...mountain biking! When not recreating, my primary interest is my job actually. I really enjoy the work I do and the people I get to work with.

Music, Movies, and Books
I should just be forthcoming about this....I'm so pop culturally backwards, it's absurd. Movie and TV references will all go over my head. I love reading, but often feel stagnant finding great reads.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Meteor shower during a wedding I was a wedding planner for.
2. Sunsets and the Wind River Mountains at any and all times from back home.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a knack for developing high quality resumes. If you ever want feedback on your resume, I can help in that way!
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I'm traveling to your place by car, I always bring my mini donut maker! If flying, I always bring a little surprise from Wyoming or Alaska to leave behind in gratitude. Always glad to cook a meal or help with a chore!
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand
Countries I’ve Lived In
