My name is Fumi. I am Japanese, but I consider myself that I am a citizen of the world!
I am interested in learning other cultures as many people here on Couchsurfing. I did the round-the-world trip twice, once in 2013-2014 and the second time in 2018. Couchsurfing has changed my life and the way I travel!!
I used to live in Mexico (so I can speak some Spanish), but now I am exploring the world.
I am a Japanese online teacher and I do some online job. I am a nomad worker. Please excuse me when I need to work some hours while I stay!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found about "Couchsurfing", when I was searching information for traveling around the world. I noticed that those travelers using this platform were enjoying the time with local people. So that's how I‘ve started to use CS. And so far I have a lot of great experiences!
My hosts would suggest places where not written in the guidebooks. So I could go to places where only local people would go. Also, they introduced me friends and family who I wouldn't be able to meet if I stay in hostel or hotel. Now I am addicted to use Couchsurfing when I go somewhere!!

Also, I would like to try food which is only special in the local area! I am into food and my curiosity goes to eating part! If possible, in return I will share dishes which I can cook! I have learned many different kind of dishes from all over the world, because of my interest and my previous job!
