ABOUT ME

I am a curent resident of Minneapolis. I spend most of my time in various dance communities teaching and dancing. I also am an active artist and work with children with disabilities. I try to travel a few times year.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed with about 5 or 6 people over the years but took a break and cannot find my old profile. So I am starting fresh. I now have my own home and am available to host. I live very close to both Minneapolis and St. Paul and would love to show people around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best experiences with Couch Surfing have been the ones when I have spent time with the people I stayed with. I stayed on a guys couch when I was visiting for a wedding. We watched nature shows that night and in the morning he made me pancakes and we did a biking tour of the area. It really added a lot to my trip.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This last year I traveled to Australia for the 2013 full eclipse. The morning of the eclipse around 4am we rented a van and found what we hoped to be a good viewing spot on the beach. The weather was overcast but as the sun came up the clouds started to dissipate. There were thousands of people from all over the world around us. About 15 min before the eclipse a huge cloud went in front of the sun. 10 min went by 5 and as everything slowly went dark around us we knew we had missed it. It was the most dramatic group disappointment I have ever been apart of. People plan 10 years in advance to witness these events. The eclipse I think was 2 and a half min long. Everyone was staring up and 30 seconds before it was over the clouds parted and we saw the eclipse. Being with thousands of people that within 15 min go from complete disappointment to witnessing together a natural wonder that is really beyond words was truly amazing.
