Born in Kazakhstan (USSR), studied in Europe (Switzerland) and have lived in the United States (Virginia Beach, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix).

In Canada since 2014. Lived in Toronto, now in Saskatchewan. Travelled to Montreal, Quebec City, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and beautiful British Columbia (Victoria, Chilliwack, White Rock) etc.

In my almost 33 years, I have visited 42 other countries and lived in 5 of them.
I have visited many places like Spain, Greece, Montenegro, New Orleans, Washington, New York, Luxor (Egypt), Cuba, Seychelles, Bali, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Qatar and the UAE several times for personal and business use.
I went through several immigrations: first, my parents moved from Kazakhstan to Russia; then I went to university and studied in Switzerland (Basel); then moved to Canada (Toronto) and lived in the USA for some time.
Since 2018 I have been in Saskatchewan.
I adore Canada and am very grateful to this country!
In 2019, I gave birth to a daughter. She was born indeed "strong and free," like every Canadian.

My recent experience with Couchsurfing was my trip to Calgary in October 2022. I am very grateful to all members of this community who quickly responded and helped me to arrange everything. You are the best in the world! So I had an appointment at the US Consulate, and everything went smoothly. Appreciate it a lot!
Also, I feel very grateful to everyone who helped me during my first trip to Vancouver and, at the same time, my first-ever experience with CS. That was a fantastic trip! The whole of British Columbia is really very beautiful, and so as its people. You, guys, really live in Paradise!

My attitude to life is Eastern philosophical. Life is much more than right here and right now. In our East, where I come from, in Kazakhstan, even when people lend money, they say - "give it back when you can; if you can’t, then let your son give it to mine".
Therefore, I believe in the idea of ​​Couchsurfing, understanding that if I help, then someone will help me, and vice versa. It is just the first law of the balance in the Universe.

1. I love good house music made by Netherland DJs, jazz (Nina Simone), funk, lounge "Cafe del mar", and other modern pop music, except country and heavy metal. Special love for traditional Western Indigenous meditation music.
2. I'm a huge fan of Oscars ceremonies; watched them all since 1994. The most favourite movies are the 5th Element and Cloudy Atlas, all movies with Leonardo DiCaprio, and Game of Thrones, of course!
3. Talking about books, I love to read psychology (children and adults) and books about brain work and mental techniques. I read a lot!

I once flew in a hot air balloon. Departure to the place was very early, around 4 am. It was fascinating to watch how the equipment was prepared, then the balloon inflated, and then made a flight. Our balloon was carried towards the river, and our instructor lowered the ball to the river and touched the bottom of the basket to the water's surface. And other balls flew towards the forest, and their passengers could touch the very tops of the trees with their own hands. Our instructor told us how he crossed the Alps in a hot air balloon. It was forbidden to do this, as he violated the safety requirements, but then he was alone in the basket, a master of aeronautics. And after we landed, we were initiated into aeronauts and given the title of count, because earlier, according to legend, where the balloon lands, then this is your land or something like that.
