About Me

Hey, I'm Wink (any pronouns are ok) 30. I just (in April) founded my dream queer house with 3 lovely people in Vienna. I want to start hosting soon, so feel free to add me if you are going to Vienna later this year ✨

You can check my Instagram if you want to: 2iWink

Things that are really important to me right now are...
*(Battle-)rap culture and writing
*Staying calmly open, but minding my own safety and wellbeing
*Exploring my own sexuality, relationships and gender
*Gaming mainly RPGs, rarely eSports titles
*DIY repairing, designing and upcycling
*Activism ~ for animal's value, earth's health, queer matters, art and rap, saving food
*Cooking
*Being outside for camping or foraging (I found out there are pretty cool mushrooms out there! uwu)

I'm taken and poly, feel free to ask me about that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

-having a meaningful encounter with someone i wouldn't meet otherwise (that may lead to a valuable connection)
-I love to share my time, my efforts and some of my space in my heart
-getting out of my own bubbles, I sometimes enjoy not having an echo chamber constantly to broaden my views
-hugs and cuddles!

Interests

I see rap as a very potent form of art, I feel good when highly philosophical ideas, are brought up and you can either identify with them or reject them. So for me it's part of self development in a way. When I write lyrics, I try my best to be unfiltered and specific, which helps me reflect and channel emotions.

I used to hike a lot with my parents when I was younger. I lost the interest in it when I moved out at 18, but I recently found it again, so I'm really hungry to hike and forage mushrooms.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my most listened artists are Prezident, Amewu, Lance Butters, Goldroger;

My favorite moving picture is One Piece bar none. There are a lot others that I enjoy, but those would change regularly. Movies/TV often feel like spoon-fed entertainment to me.

I don't read a lot, because I'm bad at sustaining attention. I'm interested in philosophical and political discourse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess stopping projects that destroy the environment forever is a good thing, but psssst i'm on NDA :))))

I was a Metal Screamer in my youth.

And the most important thing to me is I learnt to recognize my needs, boundariers and emotions and communicate them to people i trust

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm in a relationship which is non-monogamous. It's a great topic to share stories and anecdotes.

I have a lot of experience in replacing animal products with plant-based products in recipes. I think that I therefore can try to "translate" or teach some basics on how to do that.

Also I'm a ex-techguy, so I may be able to diagnose/fix some pc problems you may have. Also I can give my 2 cents on building your own pc if you plan to do that (esp. if on a budget).

Honestly I like to share what is on my mind at the time as well as listening to what another person wants to share. It's always something positive, because you can end up with a shared struggle, which helps validating your feelings, which is great. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

All the above, I can cook a (vegan) meal. I'm regularly being called a great hugger, so if that's your thing, happy to share a big hug. Let's hike together somewhere! A bit of foraging knowledge and I'm good at listening.

Nobody is the same, so let's figure something out :)
