About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live and learn.

ABOUT ME

My friends would probably say I'm the kind of person who always stands up for the right thing, and can be pretty stubborn about it. I guess I can appear a bit shy at first, but I'm really a curious person, interested in a lot of different things. I always like having a good laugh and to learn from others.

PHILOSOPHY

Experience and absorb

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started with CS by friends who told me about it. The good experiences they had with this website, get to know different people and their cultures. Having interesting conversations and discussions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting and meeting new people from all over the world, having interesting conversations, exchanges etc.
Meeting nice people while hosting and visiting them lateron in their own countries.

On my first long travel alone I crossed East-Europe, I started in Romania followed by Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic and Germany.

Later on I went travelling alone to Morocco for a month. On my way I could experience the real Arab hospitality and I met a lot of nice people on my way. Travelling alone makes me feel much more open to meet people.

Last summer I crossed Bulgaria and visited again friends from my travel before in Romania.

Interests

Let's see; Our house is a kind of jungle. Pots and plants everywhere. It makes my day to wake up between them. Further I like listening to music with violin, drawing, dancing, tea, rhythmic music, feminism, spices and of course meeting new people and arguing.

I love to dance, especially on rhythmic music. For the moment I'm learning tango and I want to learn many more dances.

I have a community garden with some friends. I want to learn how to live with and from nature, to be able to recognize edible plants in the forest, to know how to make and grow my food myself, to taste and get to know. I also love to cook with things I grow myself. If you stay at my place you'll have to taste as well. ;)

I like to talk, share idea's and learn from you.

I like to practice my french. So if you speak french don't hesitate to write me in french. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in a cave in the mountains in Marseille just seeing the sky and the sea. :D

Traveling alone through East-Europe and Morocco which was a great experience.

I could stay with a Moroccan family and experience the real Arab hospitality. I m so greatful I met them.

Finding almost enough food in nature to survive from in bulgaria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to observe, question things and think from an other point of view than mine. I like to argue.

I like to take a look in the fridge and creating something new with those few things which are left or discovering new ingredients and dishes by looking around me while travelling. I always really like to go to markets in other countries. Especially the outside markets with old ladies selling their homemade stuff. I love to taste.

I like to talk about plants, herbs, spices, tea, nature, politics, history, culture, arts, languages, gender, ..

Please read my profile and write why you'd like to meet me. Please don't send me copy-paste messages. Couchsurfing is not to have a free place to crash. It's to meet nice people. ;)
