ABOUT US
We're a couple of guys who are both into plants (thus our nickname- plant guys), I (Tony) am a professional botanist, while Adam is a gifted enthusiast about plants.
As you might imagine, we tend to gravitate towards outdoors & nature, friendly faces, artistic spirits and intellectual stimulation.
Adam is the more outgoing in nature, and Tony is the more quiet one. We are in our early forty's and have picked up six and a half acres in town (but we live in a rental in the country) We are exceedingly easy to get along with, love to lend a hand to just about anyone for anything (especially if it is outdoors or requires power tools).
We tend to be responsible to a fault, looking out for fellow humans, nonetheless we love to have fun with friends old and new. That can be cooking dinner with friends and enjoying cocktails or wine, to helping install a lawn, to soaking in hot springs in the woods. We tend to stay in touch with those we cross paths with and always look for ways to advance the dreams of each person we meet as we forge forward in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rebuilt a 1906 neoclassical row house from the foundation to roof... in 3 years... by ourselves... mostly while working full time... and going crazy ("Never again!" -Tony says "Just you wait" -Adam says).
Tony: Being a part of building the Calflora.org plant and photo database (hey, it was pretty nifty for the mid 90's!) being Curator at the SF Botanical Garden, and Director of Plant Collections at Brooklyn BG.
Adam: TBA
Teach, Learn, Share
Plants. Just ask us about plants. :) And I'm sure there are a million other subjects from high voltage electrical experiments to tendons in your hand that we could learn about too. Hiking, cooking, databases, Sign Language, construction (everything from framing to finish work, plumbing to electrical) Gardening, plant classification, oops.. started leaning towards plants again... some linux stuff, laser engraving, some car stuff... Solar & hydro power (lots for us to learn there!) I dunno, ask a question and lets look for answers! (because you know there is more than one...)
