Just joined - have traveled extensively over the years - have hosted and been hosted through U.S. Servas.org - stayed with a variety of people from dairy farmer N.Z. to professor of linguists in Athens [10 languages].
Looking to continue to build relationships around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel around the world '96-97 both teachers received a year leave of absence to experience the world. Took our youngest out of school at 10 and traveled with only one backpack each. Stayed with people we met, Youth Hostels, Servas Hosts, YMCA and low end Lonly Planet recommendations

Teach, Learn, Share

Lots of building experience, worked my way through university in construction, continued part time during summers of teaching career. Practical experience in various skills- electrical, plumbing, coaching running, track and volleyball
