Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to dip my toes in the pools of as many different ideas, cultures, world views and opinions as I can
ABOUT ME
not so much to say. I get itchy feet, I like to try new foods and I live in my noise canceling headphones.
I've been back from backpacking around South America for almost a year now, which scares me.
I got my scuba diving license in Vanuatu last year and desperately want to go to Palau to dive in the jelly fish lake.
I'm living in Sydney around the Newtown area, and am usually up for a drink.
PHILOSOPHY
try it. see what happens, then make up your mind. and don't expect things to stay the same. they probably won't.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I first joined, I was hoping to help people out who were finding their way around Japan. I know it was a bit daunting for me when I first arrived.
While I was travelling, so I hoped to share my experiences and information with those who were interested and learn as much about the people and cultures I'm surrounded by as I can.
Unfortunately my current abode is less couch surfing friendly, but I'll gladly meet up for a drink!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
only good ones so far! hosting is great fun and I hope to get out and do some surfing for myself soon!
I love finding out all the small details and hidden gems that you just won't get from guidebooks. and people are what make places so amazing!

If you're in japan in winter, there are these awesome self-heating packs called Ho-ca-i-lo (Katakana)
they stay warm for hours and stick to your clothes. absolute genius!
