ABOUT ME

An imperfect person living in an imperfect world being perfected by the Perfect One with His perfect life for a perfect world.

My personal testimony...Have you ever asked yourself why you are living in this world and what the purpose of human life is? This question came to me when I was in grade 5. Having a hard time with my studies, I asked my mom that if she really loves me then why is she making me suffer? "What is studying for?" She said, "For you to get a good job in the future." I asked her further, "What is a good job for?" For a good wife, if you don't have a good job, no one would marry you." she answered. I did not asked further but continued to ask myself, "Having a good wife and good children and even grandchildren, what's next? Is not the end still the same - death. So why study? Why not die now and save myself from all the hardships ahead since the end will still be the same anyway." Knowing that death is not the end of everything and hearing of ghost and such things that I do not well understand but believe is true, I dare not commit suicide for fear of God's judgment though not knowing yet who God really is. I resorted instead to seeking more friends to alleviate the monotony of this meaningless life by joining the boy scouts and writing to pen pals. One day I was invited to join a Christian meeting and realized I was a lost sinner that needed a Savior. God found me and brought me to the church and I came to know God's plan through the Bible and found the meaning of my human life.

The great world with all its wealth can never fill our small heart and life is not about checking a list of been there and done that.

"He [God] has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men's hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11, Amplified Bible)

PHILOSOPHY

The Bible is our only standard.
The Bible is man's operation manual that God the Creator (Inventor, Designer, Manufacturer, Producer) bestowed as His best gift to man.
"Pursue hospitality" 待客要追尋機會 (Rom. 12:13) "Do not forget hospitality, for through this some, without knowing it, have entertained angels." (Heb. 13:2)
