ABOUT ME

I prefer cats over dogs, pasta over rice, wine over beer, shorts over skirts, running over swimming... I am very bad a t multitasking, but I still feel, I should do several things at a time...
I don't like UHT milk, cold weather, amaretto...
I really like the sun, lemon ice creme, learning languages, Sweden, costume parties, playing with words...
And I have a very dry humour that I present without laughing, so unfortunately many people don't quite get it from the beginning :)

PHILOSOPHY

'Why do you live your life?' That's a tough one. I guess, I just started out having it and ever since I've been trying to make the most of it. I really like helping in any kind of way, because that makes me feel as if I was a better person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only surfed in Rome, Ireland and the US so far and had a couple of people over in Dublin. Both of it was great and I can't wait to add further places and guests to the list!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy many different kinds of music and can never remember what a song is called and whom it is by... I like to sing along though - even if I don't know the lyrics. Especially if I don't know the lyrics...
I used to read a lot, but somehow my consumtion of books has gone down in the past few years. I like stories that involve spys and all kinds of conspiracies, but also historical stuff...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hawaii was the most amazing place I have seen so far. Pictures can not capture how beautiful it is! Swiming with turtles, wearing slippers/flipflops all day and hearing the words "Did you see many hammer heads? You just need to hit them on the head and they swim off..." in a casual tone when you are back on dry land after surfing...

Teach, Learn, Share

What could I teach? I have a wide variety of fun facts stored in my mind and find it difficut to forget them. Did you know that cows have best friends, that there are pink dolphins in the Amazonas, that Norway is the only soccer team in the world which has never lost against Brasil or that rats are tickelish?
