About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get on the train and keep riding it all the way out:)

ABOUT ME

Lived in Christchurch, New Zealand for the last 2 1/2 years. Now, I'm starting a new life in Boston, MA.

PHILOSOPHY

We get one chance to write our history the way we want it.

"If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might better stay at home." ~ James Michener

"A journey is like marriage. The certain way to be wrong is to think you control it." ~ John Steinbeck

"The problems of all of humanity can only be solved by all of humanity.
" ~Friedrich Durrenmatt

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything from Dylan to Jurassic 5. Wilco to Grateful Dead and of course the Beatles:) Favorite books are.. Still life with Woodpecker (Tom Robbins), Hitchhikers guide to the Universe (Douglas Adams), The Drifters (James Michener), Travels with Charley (John Steinbeck), Die Physiker (Friedrich Durrenmatt), and all travel books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently.. Driving alone throughout Iceland and really experiencing the country in my own eyes. Also, stepping outside of the car and being blasted with 60-80mph winds and not being able to talk or breath because it was so strong.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have ever been interested in homebrewing. I can provide you with the tools to start:) I also love to cook! Everything from Malaysian street food to French cuisine. I have been learning German for the last 5 1/2 years. I can teach you all the bad words and the good ones too. Most sports.. on the American side (Baseball, Basketball, Football, Ultimate Frisbee. I can teach you how to understand or play any of these)

What I would like to learn: the basics of Spanish. Further cooking recipes. Surfing, rock climbing, sailing. Really anything that will make me think and get a smile on my face.
