About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am no missionary. My current main interest is, I admit, selfish

ABOUT ME

Hi. I'm Wyatt. I was born in a small California town in 1976. When I was a child, I was interested in riding horses. My asthma didn't allow me to do that so my main focus became swimming, health, and spending time with my close friends. Now I am pretty much still interested in health and in discovering my interests. Travel provides a vehicle for that. I enjoy the European travel system, trains can take you through the changing land so fast and so comfortably!

PHILOSOPHY

I would say that I am very fortunate to have my life. I beleive it is in my best to perfect my body and mind, to free myself, and so that I can discover how I can do an actual good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to the cs community, it was shown to me for the first time at the beginning of this trip fourteen days ago. We have only really used the service for our first stop back in Paderborn, Germany, where a very nice fellow, Tomás, took us into his home. I hope I was a decent guest. I like the idea of cs and would like to try more but as of today, I haven't done anything for the community except to try and be a decent guest for Tomás (hope I spelled your name correctly).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed, without much experience and no training, mountaineer-style up a face of rock in a little valley in Switzerland with a guy who laughed when he saw the fear left on my face as I pulled myself up onto the last ledge of our three interval ascent.

Teach, Learn, Share

Those who I have a lesson to learn from; someone surprises me, someone, who also has something they need or want to learn. Often, someone who has no interest in me at all and no connection with me personally can in fact provide the perfect mirror through which I can sense that part of myself that has been hidden from me.
