About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To stay positive through life hurdles and enjoy the little things. Always be willing to get out there and take risks...and play pranks!
ABOUT ME
I like all kinds of normal and crazy things: house parties, good coffee, swimming, karaoke!!, sunshine, the stage, film, IMPROV, sketch comedy, running amuk, hanging out with my family, seeing the world, going on road trips, cottage life, warm covers on a cold morning, good beer, and true crime shows.
I recently married my wonderful husband, Ryan. He shares a lot of the same passions and values as I do. We were married in September 2013 and then travelled to South America for 3 1/2 months. Our favourite things to do together are working out, biking, going out for food and drinks, and having fun with our friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in God/A Higher Power/Whatever you want to call it. This faith has helped me through a lot but I'm still developing my own sense of how I get through the good times and the bad. I think dreams are a gift that you have to go after no matter how many people try to get in your way. Living in the moment isn't always easy, but I've found that by looking around at the simple things that surround you- a friend laughing, a tree blooming or just the blue sky- helps ground you. It may sound kind of hippie but it works for me and helps me to not be such a worry wart. I trust in love 100 percent, and looking back it's never been something I regret.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Dexter, Mad Men. Also a sucker for really bad TLC reality shows. Favourite movies of all time are still Dazed and Confused and Natural Born Killers.
Being an actor is really stressful profession so I try to read books that keep me in the moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I toured for two months in the United States as a performer in a children's theatre show. We did over 200 shows about the benefits of agriculture. The summer had its low points but the experience was invaluable.
Ryan and I did a 4 day trek to Macchu Picchu and were 3rd and 4th in line at 5am. Seeing it empty with my husband was something I will never forget. New Years Eve on Copacabana Beach in Rio and then handgliding over it 2 days later was also amazing.
