Hello, I am Carmen. I describe myself as a funny, cheerful and responsible girl. My hobbies are dancing, acting, drawing, designing, languages and, of course, traveling. I study Translation and interpretation of English and Italian, in fact, my favourite language is Italian. I have traveled to so many different countries and cities and I think, if you can afford it, traveling is the best way to enrich yourself because you discover new cultures and your knowledge is bigger and bigger. Apart, from English and Italian I can speak French and of course Spanish.
Currently, I am working as an Au Pair in Civezzano, a village near to Trento and I am enjoying my trip in Italy because I am visiting and discovering new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsourfing just for the company! So many times I would like to travel on my own but I don't do it just because I don't have anyone whom share the trip. In Couchsourfing I can find people who go out with and, who knows, maybe I can find a new excellent friend! The family which I am working for is looking forward to taking me to a lot of places but, I sometimes like traveling on my own, so here I am, planning new trips and looking for new friends here :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite flims are Matilda and Amélie but I also really like Intouchable and Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au Bon Dieu. As you can see three of them are French so you can deduce that I live French flims.
I don't really like reading but in some occasions I read a little book or a magazine.
About music, my favourite song is Nuvole Bianche de Ludovico Einaudi. If you have never listened to it, I invite you to do it now, it's amazing. I also like Glassworks of Philip Glass and Dance of the knights of Prokofiev. In terms of current music, I only listen to reggaeton when I am about to go to a party xd (just kidding). I obviously listen to current international singers and some Spanish ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something ncredible I have just made is going to Italy to work during the summer! For me it is something completely new because I have never worked before and my Italian isn't good at all hahahaha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching Spanish, in fact, the children I take care can count from one to ten in Spanish and they learned so many words. That means I can teach you everything you want about Spanish or Spain. Moreover, I have been teaching English to children for several months and I would be happy to teach you or to practise with you :D It's been a long time since I don't practise French but, if you are French speaker, I am looking forward to speaking in that language and remember all things I've forgotten. Italian is the language that I am using the most right now so, if you are Italian, I can find an Italian friend!
Furthermore, I am not a very bad cooker, so maybe I can try to cook a Spanish dish so that you can taste it (or not Spanish xd).

As a funny Andalusian girl I can show you Spanish (and Andalusian) habits and you can ask me any doubt you have about Spain. And, of course, I can prepare a typical dish from Spain (I am improving my recipe to cook paella ;)).
