About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds worth of distance run.

ABOUT ME

Open-minded, liberal, adventurous, sometimes to the point of craziness, easy going, love to laugh and make people laugh, hate to sleep because i am afraid i will miss out on life, spontaneous and very energetic and....well...the list goes on.

PHILOSOPHY

Kinda hard to narrow down in a few lines, but here goes. Enjoy life and getting the most out of it during the short time we have here, at the same time trying to grow and evolve into a better human being. I haven't known this website long enuff to get too much deeper into my feelings and thoughts so i will leave it at that. ;-). Although i will include a quote i read several years ago that has stuck with me. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places and moments that take our breath away".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

Running...a lot. Marathons when I can. Photography (Underwater and Above), scuba diving, hiking, drawing, art, reading all kinds of books, red wine and pretty much any kind of cheese, Italian food, traveling, watching the sunrise, meeting new people, making new friends, taking sunset breaks, the ocean and everything in it, cooking, animals, (but not cooking animals... or eating them), history, mythology, Indian food, etc. etc. and anything that gets the adrenaline pumping

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoy mostly older movies, Casablanca being my all time fav. Pretty much any movie with Cary Grant in it. And everything Monty Python. Alfred Hitchcock. Prefer history books but also enjoy classical literature with the occasional mystery novel thrown in for good measure. Also Bill Bryson ( One of the funniest human beings to ever put pen to paper) Every "Calvin and Hobbes" and "The Far Side" Collection. Shakesphere and Oscar Wilde. Music interests are pretty varied as well, from Mozart to Pink Floyd to Tool. Jack Johnson, Donovan Frankenrieter and Ben Harper are pretty high up on my most played list right now. In short, there is not a lot that doesn't interest me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
