Hey there, I'm Michael!

Currently I am an Information Technology student in Munich, Bavaria. If I'm not currently at work or in university, you will probably find me at one of the many lakes nearby with my friends (probably playing football or volleyball), volunteering in my community as a firefighter and elected municipal council member, playing guitar or exploring the world. The top item on my bucket list is to visit at least 100 different countries and territories during my lifetime of which I already have been to 35.

As your host, I will try to keep my schedule clean so that we can spend some time together. However, due to some time-expensive volunteering, I sometimes might not have the time to do so. I will try to let you know my schedule before you come.
Please note that I do not live directly in the city center, but in the suburbs. My home is reachable through public transport (25-30 mins by suburban train to the city center).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most memorable experiences when traveling come when I am with other people. Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to not be an average tourist who only sees beaches, sights and a few restaurants, but a traveller who learns about culture, language, and people and also is willing to share some of his own experiences with the people they meet.
