Overview
About Me
I am a California native with a Belgian passport and a passion for travel. I traveled north to Oregon for school and loved Portland so much I stuck around for a few years before moving back to San Diego.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've traveled since I was young and I know all too well that the hospitality of others can make or break a trip. Meeting new people and trying new things is one of its biggest advantages and something I love to partake in. I believe the best way to see any place is through food and on foot, and I believe having someone who knows their way around makes it easier to accomplish that.
Interests
My years in the PNW have turned me onto hiking whenever weather permits. I also enjoy live music, good beer (I am Belgian, after all), exceptional food, and college football.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm all over the map here. I love everything from Ellie Goulding to John Mayer and Miranda Lambert. Favorite movies include Wicker Park, Tombstone and anything scary. I'm a big fan of Khaled Hosseini of The Kite Runner, but will get into anything from classics like Don Quixote (even though it was a struggle) to more practical reads like Blink.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed the highest peak in North Africa without a guide. It was scary and maybe stupid but entirely worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
What is the use in not actively engaging life? It passes anyhow.
