About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

People often say I'm a strange bird. A strange bird who goes to free parties/raves, falls asleep to Bonobo and wakes up with the sound of Erykah Badu. Someone who loves playing & singing bossa nova in the summer, but who can enjoy a cold winter exploration in an abandonned factory at night.

PHILOSOPHY

Be humble.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted my now great friend Marissa during the summer of 2013, and definitely met one of the most excentric, funny and witty person of my life..!

Interests

I enjoy playing jazz guitar or the piano, studying medicine, biking big cities, going to free parties/raves, making dubby tunes on my laptop, spending time in reggae record stores (or thepiratebay!), urban exploration, and more casually, dying in Dark Souls with my friends making fun of me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm interest in about almost all kind of music, and I'm pretty crazy about Soul (Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye...), Funk (James Brown, Marva Whitney), Jazz/bossa nova (Miles, Tom Jobim), Movie soundtracks (John Barry and Desplat especially!), Drum n' bass/Jungle/Garage (Moving Shadow, Metalheadz...), Classical music (Ravel, Debussy...), Reggae/dub/dancehall (Bunny Wailer, Barringon Levy...) and all the electronic scene in general (Burial, Bonobo, Thievery Corporation)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once took LSD on a deserted and dreamy/melancholic beach in east Hamtpons, NY (I ended up with a pretty appaling sunburst)... Or visited the Taj Mahal in a thick fog at 6 in the morning... which was amazingly lame.
But all these were nothing compared to the oneiric/nightmarish night I spent in the catacombs with my friend Guillaume. Scary and impressive like a crossover of Silent Hill and Alien.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd would really love praticing my portuguese, which is almost not-existing right now. Spanish as well!
I can teach all sorts of stuff: from playing the guitar or speaking french, to biking like a pro in Paris!

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Greece, India, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States
