ABOUT ME

Although this profile is framed a little bit on one person it is meant to be our family profile:

Julia is a designer focusing on wooden and graphical artefacts for children - see junigestaltung.de. Currently she is also a kindergarten teacher & and she does workshops with children.
Thomas is an engineering and cognitive psychologist working in the field of traffic psychology with a focus of on electric mobility - see e.g. www.tu-chemnitz.de/~frath/web.
His general interest is the human factor in energy efficiency and sustainability.

Interests

As a family we love to travel off the beaten path. When Mia was one year old (and Kilian 4) we rent a donkey in the French Maritime Alps and walked over to the Italian side and back with tent and food... When Lotta was 7 months old we travelled for two months helping a mountain farmer in South Tirol for some weeks and exploring Slovenia and Croatia with our tent and our beloved Toyota Prius.
When we are at home we love movies. We love North European films (more the Danish than the Finnish style...).
Moreover, we are enthusiastic foodies. We love to cook (Julia is vegetarian) and make ice cream.
