About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have spent too long in the corporate world and now I need to release my inner-hippie and see the world.

ABOUT ME

I recently finished a 10 year stint in Los Angeles working for a movie studio. There was a merger and they paid me a ton of money to go away. I have spent the last year traveling around the US and landed back in my hometown of Atlanta, GA. (I wish I had know about this site sooner.) I have no desire to go back to the corporate world, so I am hoping to start my own business. We'll see.

PHILOSOPHY

Dang, do I need one of those?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined. I hope to make my couch available as soon as I settle down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I slept on a friend's leather couch in Corvallis, Oregon once and smelled leathery all day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - I like almost anything by Stanley Kubrick. Hitchcock, Scorsese, most Woody Allen up to a point, anything written by Charlie Kaufman.

Music in no particular order: pre-Garth Brooks country (Hank, Willie, Dolly, Lorett, etc.), 70's Motown (i.e. Marvin Gaye, Al Green), Classic Rock, Cure, pre-Document REM, Foo Fighters, The Killers, Flaming Lips and much much more.

Book I most want to read before I die: David Foster Wallace's "Infinite Jest" that'd keep me busy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove from Atlanta to Alaska and back. It took 11 months and covered 31 states.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a great talent for pop culture trivia which unfortunately does not translate into a high-paying job. I am skillful in the art of garage sale-ing.
