Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I prefer to learn about my destination from someone who lives there rather than the well worn guidebook path. And I hope to provide the same benefit to my guests.

Interests

I am a Tar Heel, so there are few things I love to do more than talk basketball and paper classes. I also am learning how to play ukulele, chess, and trying not to forget my Chinese.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say I went skydiving, but honestly I'm much prouder of myself for spending a year in a rural Chinese village.
