About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have fun, deal some cards and travel to Europe in 2012

ABOUT ME

Hello, people of the world! My name is Fraser Turbet. I'm Australian. I live my nation's capital Canberra working in the casino there. Currently planning a big trip to Europe with my brother and a friend, when the world ends in 2012. Well according to that Nostradamus guy.

I'm a totally honest guy, who you won't see very often speak out against someone. My philosophy: If you can't change it then why whine about it, do your job and live out your life, simple enough to do that right? Honestly I can type out a hell of a lot of stuff but when I come to a person face to face I just can't seem to get a conversation going after the initial "Hey, hows it going? Good, yourself? Good, whats been happening anything new?" "Nah not really" Then it ends there... *sigh* It's such a killer.

In all seriousness, I hate people generalizing, people mentioning my height every 4 seconds and asking me whether or not the weather is good up here.

PHILOSOPHY

If you can't change it then why whine about it, do your job and live out your life to the fullest, simple enough to do that right?

Interests

My hobbies include: Computer games, basketball, skateboarding and general mucking around. Exploration you might call it. Reading is also good helps you relax.

Music,
I love metal, rock and indie music. I don't mind a little jazz and dance music from time to time. Some bands I like are Dead Letter Circus, Gyroscope, Thrice, Crystal Castles and Death Cab for Cutie. My GOD! So many to list that are great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tasmania, beautiful. Just really amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm here to learn any language from Eastern Europe and Scandinavia before I head out as those areas will most likely the areas that we will be staying in most of the time, before heading back to England. I want to learn Russian and the Norwegian language.

I could teach English but I think I wouldn't make a very good teacher.

I'll show you around Canberra, the nightlife especially since I'm a person who enjoys the night quite alot.
