Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Always be open-minded. Explore, make friends, and treat everyone with kindness.
ABOUT ME
I am friendly, easygoing, sincere, silly, and meticulously organized. Currently working as a filmmaker in Brooklyn, NY, where I grew up. I recently started swing dancing, which is by far one of the most fun things in the world (apart from watching movies with my cat).
PHILOSOPHY
Why stress, when you could be jumping up and down while singing your favorite song at the top of your lungs until your diaphragm hurts from giggling too much?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love couchsurfing when I'm traveling - it's the perfect way to meet people and experience a new place. I don't currently have a couch to share, but I look forward to hosting surfers when I do!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Most recently, I couchsurfed in Pennsylvania and Ohio while on a road trip. Before that, I surfed in France, Scotland, Israel, and the Northeast US!
Interests
Film and filmmaking, photography, swing dancing, communal living, yoga, hiking, biking, climbing trees, swimming in the ocean, scuba diving, camping, being still in nature, being rowdy with friends, laughing, listening.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love documentary films! Seen any good documentaries lately? Top of my list at the moment are "Blackfish" and "Cameraperson."
One of my favorite books is "Prodigal Summer," by Barbara Kingsolver. Also anything else by Barbara Kingsolver...
Huge Harry Potter dork.
The Beatles are near and dear to my heart, along with Cat Stevens, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird... and many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the White House for a science fair, where I had the honor of being in the same room as Barack Obama and got to hang out with Bill Nye the Science Guy :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach basic video editing with Premiere Pro if you want a quick tutorial!
Would love to learn about fermentation, organic gardening, and how does the economy really work, anyway?
