CURRENT MISSION

To be family and to feel the more sutle things in life. I just found my perfect place on earth and will soon build a yoga ashram, veg-restaurant & organic farm as part of a spiritual community :-)

ABOUT ME

Well, I`m an adventurer. I guess that´s the best word to describe me. I went travelling the world just after I finished highschool and had such great experiences and met so many nice people that I never wanted to stop it. Today I have been travelling for more than 7 years in which I have seen a third of the countries in the world. Every now and then I stayed in a place and worked for a bit, now being family keeps me settled in Colombia for a bit. But I will always have to keep travelling more parts of the world, along with my regular yoga practise it`s the only things which keep me happy and alive in the long-term and where I can be my truest self.

PHILOSOPHY

If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. We need not wait to see what others do.(Gandhi)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love talking to people. I never studied at university and believe that you "study" much better by just being out there in the world, so I try to pass my experiences to others, inspire them and spread more peace.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did couchsurfing for a couple of times with friends and by myself, which was both quite an experience. Unfortunately guys can be a little creepy in Asia and I would`t do it again or recommend it to any other single girl travelling. I hosted some people in our tiny apparment in Canada and Scotland, last year in Bogota and it was fun seeing the other side.

Travelling. While doing that, growing spiritually, doing yoga, hiking, diving, skiing, meditating, writing, reading, singing, gardening, building, painting, dancing Tango, taking pictures, cooking healthy, making friends in every country, experiencing new cultures, learning new languages and whatever else comes up sspontaneously.

During "unnormal life" it`s hard to find time for those things. Either I am working hard staying at one place or moving around the world. But if, I like books which teach you something, world literature and movies which let you forget everything else over a romantic night with your partner.. Music depends on the situation, sometimes there are those songs which make you so enthuasiastic about something - I love driving down the highway, singing in the campervan "It`s my life, it`s now or never, I`m not gonna live forever..."

Respect everyone. Every person has it`s reasons and causes for being how they are and acting how they act. Just try to understand and feel compassion for them.

I got certified as a yoga teacher in India and would be very happy to give you a class of Hatha or Kundalini yoga ;-) I'm also happy to share my language knowledge or cooking recipes with you as well as give you travel tips for your next destination.…
